This blog is going to chronicle my time student teaching, starting in January. Until then I will chronicle my time preparing, the nervousness, and the anxiety. Thank you for joining me on this journey.
Confused
Disappointed
Detached
Lost
Lonely
These are words to describe that past months of my life. When I thought I had everything planned out, great things to look forward to, all of a sudden things changed. I can't pinpoint a certain time when things changed, maybe it was over a period of time and then it hit me. So here we are, in Indiana, when we were supposed to be in the Czech. I have faced so many disappointments in the past couple of months, but I have learned to look ahead and not give up. Although this certainly isn't the plan I had for myself and Kyle, I am learning to embrace it. So in light of what I have a lost, here is a brief list of what I have gained these past months:
Time being an auntie
Memories with my sister
Old friends
Job I enjoy
Teaching in Indianapolis
Husband
Parents, in-laws
I press on to take hold of that for which Christ Jesus took hold of me...Philippians 3:12

I really have enjoyed having you around. I know it wasn't "the plan" but God often has a way of turning our worlds inside out. You know that. Anyway, I have enjoyed having you around as my sister and the aunt to my children. It was GREAT to be with you when my water broke and to see you at the hospital. It's been nice to have you so close to help out those first few weeks when I needed you the most. Thank you.
